New Mezzanine Lift Installed in Kent

Lödige has completed the installation of another SERWA mezzanine goods lift, this time in Kent.

Lödige UK has recently installed and commissioned a mezzanine lift for a Grocer in Kent. The customer uses a mezzanine floor to maximise storage space within their warehouse. Prior to the lift being installed they manually carried boxes of produce up the stairs by hand which was time consuming. In addition, this also posed a health and safety risk to staff. In lieu of Brexit, the customer is organising themselves to ensure they are prepared for an anticipated increase in demand for British produce.  By adding the goods lift they have increased their daily productivity and have improved health and safety for staff.

The SERWA goods only lift from Lödige is a cost effective solution for goods movement needs. There is an extremely short delivery and install time with this product. There is a team of UK based engineers that can install this lift in 2-5 days.

Some of the many product highlights are as follows;

  • Max load up to 1,000 kg
  • Two stops
  • Travel height of up to 4.09 meters
  • Free standing
  • No lift pit required
  • No machine room required
  • Call and send controls
  • Easy to use
  • Low maintenance
  • Electric chain drive system which is eco-friendly
  • Reliable
  • Front only or through car options available

Lödige has been established in the UK for more than 30 years. In this time, more than 1300 lifts have been installed across the nation. Whereas the SERWA is a goods only lift, there is the Escorta which is a free standing goods with attendant lift. There is a wide range of goods movement available to suit all applications. With Lödige, all products are designed and manufactured in house by experienced staff with great attention to detail.
