Lödige was excited to be invited back to a UK luxury piano showroom in to install a second lift to enable them to move pianos in between floors more efficiently and safely.
The warehouse is for a company that manufactures upright and grand pianos that are renowned for being of the highest quality and are used by top pianists around the world in some of the most prestigious venues.
As a result, these pianos are very valuable - going into the tens or even hundreds of thousands of pounds - and moving them safely with no damage is essential, as well as ensuring the wellbeing of the team working in the showroom transporting these heavy items.
The Escorta lift installed can transport goods weighing up to 1000kg across 7.7 metres with three stops. This enables the team on-site to transport both a piano and a trained attendant comfortably so that the attendant can ensure the safety of the piano at all times, making sure that no damage occurs.
Our experience of goods lift installation meant that the team at the showroom was confident we would be able to work safely around their valuable products without causing damage and that we could install the goods lift with minimal disruption to the operation of the business.
