Lödige Campus Opening

Paderborn, 16 June 2026 – Lödige Industries today officially opened the Lödige Campus in Paderborn. The 4,000-square-metre new building serves as a central development centre for next-generation technologies in mechanical engineering, automation, software and service. The opening marks a milestone in the long-term growth strategy of global market leader Lödige Industries. Spread across four floors, the campus at Balhorner Feld 1 in Paderborn offers state-of-the-art workspaces for around 200 employees.

Ideas and prototypes developed at the Lödige Campus can be tested directly in the adjacent Technology and Innovation Center. This enables Lödige Industries products to reach market maturity faster. At the same time, the company's successful product portfolio is being advanced with a clear focus on the future. The new building also houses the Customer Care Center, from which Lödige Industries monitors systems installed around the world. A Parts and Supply Center, likewise built at the Lödige Campus, ensures the fastest possible availability of parts for installation, maintenance and service operations.

The Lödige Campus also brings together engineering, software and service expertise, thereby strengthening cross-departmental collaboration. This interdisciplinary approach is a key factor in shortening development cycles and further improving integration processes across the entire portfolio.

“The Lödige Campus strengthens our innovative capacity across all business areas. At the same time, it consolidates Lödige Industries' position as a market leader,” says Philippe De Backer, CEO of Lödige Industries. “Our technologies from East Westphalia set the standard: they power global air cargo flows, transform mobility in cities and, in industry, ensure that heavy loads can be moved with ease.”

“Trust in complex logistics systems is built first and foremost by taking responsibility. With our Customer Care Center (CCC), we ensure that our customers can access our expertise worldwide and around the clock. For us, the CCC is far more than a central point of contact – it is the operational backbone of our service promise, one that our partners rely on 24/7,” says Philippe De Backer.

“As a family-run company, innovation has always been closely tied to responsibility for us: responsibility towards our employees, our customers and the regions in which we operate. The Lödige Campus reflects this self-image perfectly. We are proud to further strengthen our presence in Paderborn and to help shape the future of our industry from here,” says Dr.-Ing. Rudolf Lödige, Chairman of the Advisory Board and spokesman of the Lödige family.
